YAY! Twitch has launched a DJ program so that you can do LEGAL DJ STREAMS!! Over the years it has been a struggle for DJ's to survive on Twitch, DMCA strikes made many stop and for those that kept on going (or started in this period like me...) it was a risky business to be live. I played tracks from unknown artists or from labels that allowed the music to be streamed but it was hard to not play my favorite tracks since I knew I would be in trouble with it. With the DJ program on Twitch we now give a bit of our income to the artists and labels and so Twitch is the first to help us DJ's towards this new digital step in spreading the love for music! 

If you want to read what it is all about exactly read this article from Twitch and for my streams it will mean the following: 

• Part of my revenue will go towards the artists / labels from the music I play. This is ONLY from the income on Twitch and Twitch will cover 50 percent of the music costs too. For this reason I will not focus too much on bits and subs goals on Twitch. We keep the goals as they are since I do want to give artists something for letting me stream it on twitch. If you want to support me more directly then the ko-fi is the way to go. This supports my digital art journey because if I do art streams on Twitch and you give some revenue there, I share it all with the labels/artists now. For this reason it's best if you want to support my art, support me on ko-fi. There are memberships and one time donations possible and I will get the full cut. This way Twitch, the labels/artist and myself all get a share for providing the services we do. This is to me the most fair solution and luckily we already have it all set up this way. • For the upcoming year there will be less costs to DJing on Twitch, to initiate the program. This was for me the deciding matter to DJ REAL HARD FOR A YEAR. After if the cost get too high to sustain, I can always quit the program and go full on art streams or whatnot. It's a wild ride here on Twitch but I feel that this is a great step for everyone. DJing on Twitch was always a bit scary to be honest....
